Dr. Hassan Mumtaz is working at Maroof International Hospital as a Clinical Research Associate. Clinical Trials are being conducted in collaboration with Population Health Research Institute, McMaster University Canada, Bill & Melinda Gates Medical Research Institute, NIH USA & Global CRO like IQVIA Inc and TigerMed. He has been a Lecturer in the Department of Forensic Medicine at Riphah International University. He is pursuing his Masters’s in Public Health from the Health Services Academy Pakistan, under the Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations & Coordination Pakistan and am a Student Member of the Royal Society of Public Health in the United Kingdom. I serve as the Global Ambassador to Global Consortium for Medical Education and Research (GCMER) for Pakistan, providing Research Opportunities & Mentorship for Portfolio Building.

He was being featured in the April Newsletter of Maroof International Hospital Islamabad showcasing the achievements of their Research Department. He is also the certified trainer for UpToDate. He is a Freelance Academic Writer for Artezilla, a Digital Media & Marketing Company & also serve as a mentor for Karachi Medical Research Club, a research society of Karachi Medical & Dental College

Dr. Hassan was a Medical Officer at the Shifa International Hospital’s Clinical Research Centre, the largest Clinical Phase III Trial of Can Sino Vaccine in Pakistan.

Before that, he worked as a House Surgeon in KRL Hospital’s Department of Surgery, which comprised Urology and Orthopedics. He has previously worked as a House Physician in the Department of Internal Medicine-Pediatrics at Holy Family Hospital/Rawalpindi Medical University in Pakistan for 4.5 months. He was a member of the frontline health workers team.

After graduating from the Islamabad Medical & Dental College, Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University in January 2020, he has done Clinical Electives in Urology, Guy’s & St Thomas Hospital, London Uk, for seven weeks. He has also carried out a Quality Improvement Project/Clinical Audit during my time in the UK. Along with that, he shadowed a General Physician for a week at Surrey Docks Health Centre, London, Uk.

Dr. Hassan has presented numerous e-posters at various international conferences, including the 11th Eurasian URO-ONCOLOGY Congress in Sanliurfa, Turkey, and the Shifa International Hospital’s Annual Medication Management Conference.
