1- Vision
Being an Editorial Board Member, is one of the most prestigious scientific positions but
also a responsability full of obligations. Most working scientists do attend this position
lately in their career. While many early career researchers start Peer Review for journal
manuscripts, understanding the late stages of editorial consideration, and steps to edit
and publish a journal is not possible without being part of this process.
We have introduced a new Project called the JMR Editorial Board Fellowship. It is an
opportunity for junior medical researchers to be part of the Ediorial process under the
guidance of Project manager.
The JMR Editorial Fellowship Program, is designed for Junior Researchers and
early-career faculty members for a one year mentorship program. This valuable
program encourage Junior implication and exchange of ideas, and aim to develop
ability, readiness, communication skills, interaction with high position leaders and Peer
Review skills.
AIM: Offer junior researchers, late-stage fellow or early-career faculty members
interested in pursuing an editorial role in medical research an opportunity to develop
thir network and skills
Each academic year up to 5 candidates are selected. Because of the distance-learning
structure, candidates should be able to work independently.
During the program, Editorial Fellows participate in all our editorial processes
2- Fellowship plan,
Successful ‘Editorial Fellows’ will join the Board for a period of a year. During this time
they will be in direct contact with the Project Manager who will act as their mentor for
the duration of their mentorship.

self-paced online course will be teached, 3-month evaluations appointment will be
