Dr Roberto obtained his Italian Board of General Surgery in 1993. He got his Clinical Fellowship in transplantation  from the  University of Miami, Miami Florida USA. Currently, Dr Roberto is a consultant for General Surgery at IDI-IRCCS Hospital. He is a teaching Professor at “Rome Cattolica Nursing School” for Anatomy of the Human Body and clinical associate professor of surgery at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Dr Roberto is an active member of the American Society of Transplant Surgeons , the United States Military Cancer Institute and the American College of Surgeons. Dr Roberto authored  more than 55 PubMed indexed papers and served many prestigious journals board.
