Dr Hatem obtained his medical degree from Kasr Alainy medical school (cairo university) 1995. He completed his training as orthopedic resident and obtained his Master degree in orthopedic surgery. He attended many spine surgery training in Japan ,India and poland. He obtained European spine Diploma from France, and Endoscopic spine surgery Fellowship from Korea. He isan  active member of the Eurospine Society , AO spine society, The Egyptian orthopedic association and Egyptian spine association. He authored several publications about new Technique in cervical spine surgery. He discussed in several international meetings and authored several papers in national prestigious journals. Dr Hatem is currently an orthopedics and spine surgery consultant. He is the head of the spine unit of Elmina city hospital Egypt
